Join Us for Our May 30 Open House and One-Year Anniversary Celebration!

We’re turning one, and we’re celebrating with a day full of fun for all ages!

Please join us at Reading at the Rock on May 30 for a special Open House in celebration of our one-year anniversary. We’re so grateful for the support, encouragement, and enthusiasm our community has shown during this first year, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

There will be something for everyone, including:

• Local author book signing

• Summer Reading Program sign-ups

• Paws to Read

• Balloon animals and balloon art

• Origami for all ages

• Watercoloring for adults

• Cornhole

• Sidewalk chalk

• Bubbles

• Food, including pizza, salad, lemonade, and cookies

We hope you’ll stop by, say hello, enjoy some food and activities, sign up for summer reading, and help us celebrate this exciting milestone. Thank you for making our first year so special. We look forward to seeing you on May 30!

Local Author Book Signing

We’re especially excited to welcome our very own Julie Bishop, who has published her book!

Julie’s adorable, cozy children’s book, Itsy Bitsy Betsy, the first in a series, will be available for purchase at the Open House. Copies are just $12.00, and Julie will be happy to sign your book if you’d like.
